Our services include Fixed Wire Testing (EICR) + remedial works, PAT testing, thermographic surveys, installation & maintenance, together with emergency lighting design, testing and repair. We also have engineers trained and accredited to install Paxton Access Control equipment.

About Us
Southern Counties Services Ltd is a family ran business, established in 2008 by Steve Grimsteed. He has steadily grown the business from a small team of dedicated engineers to a size that that can offer advice and solutions to a wide range of clients. We now have a large team of specialist electrical, mechanical, maintenance and testing engineers to cover all aspects of your M & E requirements. Many of our engineers having up to 25 year’s experience, which is in turn, passes on to our younger team members. All our engineers have worked for us for a minimum of 5 years with many of the engineers being with us from the start. Any new staff are individually vetted and placed to work along side one of our senior engineers until they can prove the required level of expertise and commitment and customer facing abilities. We do not use agency staff as we cannot guarantee the level of their workmanship. Our team is based in and around London and the home counties and can offer a quick respond within the south east of England. We tailor our business to suit our customer’s needs, whether that may include urgent time constraints or working to a strict financial budget.
We pride ourselves in having over 37 years’ experience within the industry and are very proud that, to date, we have not needed to advertise, with all existing clients coming via word of mouth or personal recommendation. However, at the request of several of our larger clients and to showcase our works, we have now developed our website.
